Law Enforcement

Our office investigates criminal offenses, traffic accidents, enforce traffic laws, and serve as a representative for the County Coroner’s office in death investigations. Other duties include but are not limited to collecting delinquent property taxes, execution of court orders, serving civil process, serving warrants, extradition of prisoners from other states, transporting jailed prisoners, providing security for the County and District Courts, Sex Offender registration for the county, vehicle identification number inspections, and gun permit applications.

Corrections Center

Visitation is utilized by the Red Willow County Corrections and will generally be held Tuesday-Friday between 8:30am-10:30am and 11:30am-3:30pm. Visits must be scheduled 24 hours in advance. No more than two visitors per inmate are allowed in a single visit due to space limitations.

Emergency Management

Red Willow County Emergency Manager Kevin Darling oversees the Red Willow County Emergency Management Office. We have initiated a new Emergency Notification area to our Emergency Management site, ALERT SENSE, where you can go onto your smart phone, android, tablet or laptop to have alerts sent to you.
